About the Role
In line with the company strategy, standards methodology and project management principles, to assist a more senior Standards Specialist in standards development and / or infrastructural projects for tasks of small size / complexity in order to ensure standards development environment and / or message standards are responding to customer needs and are effectively developed and implemented.

Key Responsibilities
Collect and analyse business requirements in order to develop or maintain MT and / or ISO 20022 securities messages or APIs for securities related processes such as settlement & reconciliation, asset servicing, collateral management etc.
Support, maintain and facilitate working groups to gather requirements and to formulate market practices
Collaborate externally with diverse stakeholders to harmonize market practice and drive adoption, promoting international standardisation / convergence.
These stakeholders include groups such as the Securities Market Practice Group (SMPG)
Under the supervision of a senior standards expert, provide support in the maintenance of securities ISO 15022 and ISO 20022 messages
Respond to customer questions related to the content, use and implementation of ISO 15022 and ISO 20022 messages for securities related processes.

Excellent English, both written and spoken; other languages are an asset
Willingness to travel
A few years of experience gained in a financial institution, consultancy, service provider, industry association, software vendor or similar, ideally in an operational and / or business analyst role
Deep operational knowledge of business processes, standards and the industry actors involved in securities transaction processing.
Knowledge of different types of financial instruments, including digital assets and related processes
Knowledge of Swift ISO 15022 and ISO 20022 messages in the area of securities processes is a plus
Understanding of international standards and the role they play in the financial system
