Job Description FIELD APPLICATION ENGINEER – Spain Company Information: Analog Devices (www.analog.com; NASDAQ: ADI) is a world leader in the design, manufacturing, and marketing of a broad portfolio of high-performance analog, mixed-signal, and digital signal processing (DSP) integrated circuits (ICs) used in virtually all types of electronic equipment.

The Field Application Engineer is the primary technical resource for assigned accounts in Israel, supporting customers, and taking their design programs from conception right through to mass production.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical, commercial and interpersonal skills.
This is a customer-facing sales position, and as such, excellent presentation and communication skills are a must.
Working closely with the Regional Sales Team, and more broadly with the EMEA Sales Teams, ADI Business Units and Technology Groups, confidence and a strong team ethic is required, as is the ability to act and work independently.
Key responsibilities of the role: Be a trusted technical advisor for customers while delivering exceptional support service on a day-to-day basis.Build up strategic and durable partnerships with our key customers in the region.Development of ADI business at all regional customers in Spain and Portugal.Identification and management of new business opportunities/new customers/startups for ADI and bring them to win.Understanding customers' objectives and requirements and anticipating their challenges.Leverage on ADI's solutions value by positioning our products, demonstrating evaluation systems/boards and generating new upsell/cross-sell opportunities.Be a pro-active member of the Sales Team and build a strong internal network within ADI.Effectively articulate and communicate customers' needs back into the organization.Visit customers on a regular basis, attend trade shows and other industry events to capitalize on networking and relationship-building opportunities.Support internal marketing and product definition teams collecting and summarizing requirements and market trends for specific end applications.Training customers on Analog Devices' solutions and products and presenting at seminars.Keep up to date with the latest ADI technologies, products and trends.Co-operate with the Sales Team ensuring sales KPIs are timely met, sharing knowledge on trends, growth/lost business, upsell/cross-sell opportunities and providing actionable recommendations for improvements. Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or an equivalent professional qualification.5+ years experience at board/system electronic design level or previous experience as Field Application Engineer.Experience in the semiconductor market and in solution selling.Experience in technology sales and working with distribution partners.Highly motivated, energetic and positive attitude required.Team player and ability to adapt to changing situations.Self-motivating and taking initiative.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Excellent relationship building skills.Proficiency in Spanish and English language.Willingness to travel 3 to 4 days a week, full clean driving license and passport.
