Position Overview Job Title: Staff Accountant

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Remote San Fernando, Philippines

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team as a Staff Accountant.
The preferred candidate possesses a degree in Accounting or Business and exhibits proficiency in financial analysis, along with prior experience as a Staff Accountant.

Key Responsibilities Handling accounts payable processes, including invoice verification, payment processing, and vendor management. Managing cash transactions, including recording daily cash receipts and disbursements. Reconciling bank statements and ensuring accuracy in financial records. Assisting in month-end and year-end closing procedures. Generating financial reports and assisting in financial analysis as needed. Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies. Collaborating with other team members to support overall financial operations. Communicating with vendors/customers. Following up on account statements, vendor invoice discrepancies, and responding to vendor inquiries. Researching and resolving accounting issues or discrepancies. Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business with a focus on Accounting. Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in a similar role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Proficient in English (verbal and written). Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset.
The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer.
The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based. Must be willing to submit up to a LEVEL II background and/or security investigation with a fingerprint.
