We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team as an Accounts Officer. The ideal candidate holds an accounting degree and demonstrates a strong aptitude for financial analysis and data management.

Position Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Processes high volume of vendor invoices.Communicates with vendors/customers via email.Prepares and processes vendor payments two times a week.Performs vendor account reconciliation upon request.Follows up on account statements, vendor invoice discrepancies, and responds to vendor inquiries.Basic accounting knowledge to research and resolve accounting issues or discrepancies.Assist with ad-hoc duties.Monitor and collect account receivables by contacting customers via email.Maintain account receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, and miscellaneous differences are timely cleared.Performs customer account reconciliation upon request.Research customer account inquiries and resolve any billing discrepancies.Assist in special projects as needed.Candidate Qualifications WONDER IF YOU ARE A GOOD FIT FOR THIS POSITION? Accounting degree.Comfortable with processing high volume vendor invoices in an accounting system in a timely and accurate manner.High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.Proficient in Microsoft Excel.Proficient in English (verbal and written).Strong organization and communication skills.Accounting system: Great Plains (GP) or any ERP system.Conditions of Employment Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based.Must be willing to submit up to a LEVEL II background and/or security investigation with a fingerprint. Physical Requirements
This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
