We have a great opportunity in our Madrid office for an Operations Technician (French or Dutch speaking). Within Chubb Operations Hub for Continental Europe, you would be based in Madrid acting as Operations Technician for our Iberian branches, providing the highest standards of quality, service delivery and accuracy within the operations function by reviewing instructions received from the Iberia Underwriting team or brokers, accurately entering premium bookings and preparing policy documentation.
To provide technical and administrative support to the management of the On-line SME portfolio at a portfolio rather than transactional level, for Financial Lines, Casualty, Cyber, and Marine. This may be extended to other LOBs. Support the standardized model of using Ignite/ICT to provide a seamless, high-quality service to the end customer. Support the Operations Manager as Process Owners for all retained and outsourced processing and related activities and act as Subject Matter Expert for all retained and outsourced work elements.
A flexible approach will be required to support delivery of high-quality services and outsourced activities. To manage the user system maintenance within agreed SLAs. This will include the set-up of new access, amendments, and access removal.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the system set up of new products and associated policy documentation/invoice production within agreed SLAs and quality standards.Ownership and maintenance for relevant systems that the products are being managed on, including Template management, product and code mappings, segment references and linkage with relevant teams to ensure appropriate interfaces to back end systems and process.Have an in-depth understanding of processes and adopt an ethos of continuous review with the intention of improving, error-proofing, automating, simplifying, clarifying, and eradicating any 'non-value' process steps.Manage Broker Network set up and maintenance including Broker Novation's, granting new access, amendments, and access removal, and providing Broker Assistance.Manage and respond within SLA to all general Broker correspondence received through local mailbox accounts.Manage the manual processing of any system fall-outs, within SLA.Maintain data quality by reviewing and identifying inconsistencies in the system landscape.Keep current on all relevant product knowledge to SME products managed on Ignite/ICT and be a subject matter expert.Review and monitor all outsourced work elements, identify type and frequency of problems or inefficiencies, track root cause analysis of rework, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.Produce relevant SOX reporting (including outsourced partners processed business) for Team Leader sign off.Undertake audits and Quality Control checking of outsourced and retained work elements to evidence the service being provided.Take personal responsibility for the Quality Control of own and outsourced work elements to ensure that the highest standards of delivery are achieved.Quality Check booking requests received on Registration System or any other format before forwarding to Third Party service provider.Triage, investigate and resolve credit control queries within SLA. Qualifications: French or Dutch (native or bilingual), English (High/advanced level).Experience within a Processing role is essential, particularly experience of following written instructions, data entry, and document/report drafting, etc., all functions related to the policy cycle.Previous Commercial Insurance experience is preferred.
