Role Purpose
The purpose of the role is to own the end-to-end submission logging, with special focus on cutting interim handling between underwriting assistants, underwriters, and offshore teams. Provide the highest standards of quality, service delivery, and accuracy within the SSC function by reviewing and validating instructions received from the Underwriters and creating new business submissions alongside the accurate management of rating tools to support successful underwriting of new business. In case of uncertainties around the request, liaise with the relevant brokers to ensure a full set of data is present for underwriting at the time of the first rate review. Ensure high-level data accuracy by quality checking the inputted data, make suggestions for process improvement to enhance data quality.
Key Responsibilities Acquire and maintain technical knowledge and ability to manage and control the end-to-end submission process, including raters and sanctions, with minimum contributions from Underwriting.Review, validate, collect, and input data into relevant rating tools (UWR Portal, Mendix, Core, etc.).Maintain data accuracy throughout the quoting process, through continuous data validation and quality checks.Proactively gain and develop knowledge of all P&C lines of business to facilitate accurate processing for both retained and outsourced work elements.Oversee and maintain delivery of high-level process requirements for both retained and outsourced submission processes.Accurately complete weekly/monthly QA activities.Review and monitor all outsourced work elements, identify type and frequency of problems or inefficiencies, track root cause analysis of rework, and make recommendations for continuous improvement. Qualifications Knowledge & Experience
Fluency in Italian and English is a must; Spanish is desired. Experience within a Processing role is essential, particularly experience of following written instructions, data entry, and document/report drafting. Previous Commercial Insurance experience is preferred.
