Job Description: Automation Architect
Overview: The scope of the SRE Automation Architect is mainly the services and solutions provided by the SRE teams to other GPT teams and the MCP business. The scope may be expanded eventually to cover services provided by other GPT teams or by the MCP business to its clients. Working with the SRE, Product Development, and business teams, identify automation opportunities in the defined scope. Define initiatives to implement those automations. Define priorities for those initiatives, based on cost and benefits of each of them. Automation Architect will also provide Business Cases to evaluate the added value of the initiatives. Identify technologies and tools to implement automation, defining an automation framework applicable to all initiatives. Support SRE and Development teams on developing and implementing automations. Work with business teams on business readiness, communication, and adoption of the new processes. Measure and report on the benefits of the implemented initiatives. Compare results with the expected benefits as defined in the Business Case. Based on this analysis, propose additional improvements to maximize the benefit of each initiative. Maintains a broad knowledge of state-of-the-art technology and tools. May work together with other teams engaged in similar functions.

Education and Experience:
Work experience in managing technical solutions in a complex, dynamic and highly technical environment
Proven internal client engagement experience
Proven capability in effectively managing and meeting client expectations
Experience in operating in a highly technical, complex environment
Prior experience in a global organization
College degree or equivalent in education or experience
Fluent in English
