We're hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager to shape our tech vision, strategy, and roadmap for one of Amazon's most critical initiatives. Key ResponsibilitiesEnable solutions that reach millions of new customers all over the world, providing them with a world-class shopping experience.Align teams, partners, and stakeholders to drive direction, manage expectations, and overcome organizational challenges.Have end-to-end ownership of cross-functional projects, including roadmap planning, resource planning, stakeholder management, and project execution.Work closely with engineering, business, and operations teams to ensure smooth coordination, execution, and launch of new features for Amazon's Australia and Singapore retail websites.Drive the delivery of critical business initiatives, managing all aspects of the project such as project planning, risk management, communication, and implementation planning.Identify innovative solutions to project deadlocks and resolve issues and constraints through negotiation, diplomacy, and sound judgment.Make project decisions and achieve tactical goals while retaining a strategic focus.A Day in the LifeManage multiple competing cross-functional projects/programs simultaneously on a global scale.Interact with engineers, technicians, project managers, and senior management on a daily basis.Run meetings, create and maintain timelines, and keep large, diverse groups informed of progress and obstacles.Work with engineers and infrastructure partners to develop detailed and creative solutions to complex problems while keeping a watchful eye on timelines and costs.The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys and excels in dealing with significant ambiguity and has a keen interest in enterprise procurement and customer experience. They will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a proven ability to lead large cross-functional projects, including communication across all levels and teams in the organization.
