We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to help our teams better solve for our customers needs. You'll contribute to the tech vision, strategy, and road map of one of the most important initiatives across Amazon. You will enable innovative technology solutions that directly improve buyer experience around the world, impacting a multi-billion dollar business.
In this role you will: Enable solutions that reach millions of new customers all over the world, providing them with a world class shopping experience.
Work across all tiers leveraging Service-Oriented Architecture, mobile platforms, user experience, analytics and data mining.
Work closely with our teams, partners and stakeholders to set direction, maintain alignment, manage expectations and help overcome organisational challenges.
Key job responsibilities:
As a Technical Program Manager on the team, you will have end to end ownership of cross-functional projects, including roadmap planning, resource planning, stakeholder management, and project execution. You will work closely with engineering, business, and operations teams to ensure smooth coordination, execution, and launch of new features for Amazon's Australia and Singapore retail websites.
At the heart of this role is delivery. You will be hands-on in driving the delivery of critical business initiatives, managing all aspects of the project such as project planning, risk management, communication, and implementation planning. You will be a technical problem solver on the team, identifying innovative solutions to project deadlocks and resolving issues and constraints through negotiation, diplomacy, and sound judgment. You will be responsible for making project decisions and achieving tactical goals while retaining a strategic focus.
A day in the life: Manage multiple competing cross-functional projects/programs simultaneously on a global scale.
Interact with engineers, technicians, project managers and senior management on a daily basis.
Run meetings, create and maintain timelines, and keep large, diverse groups informed of progress and obstacles.
Work with engineers, infra partners to develop detailed and creative solutions to complex problems, while keeping a watchful eye on timelines and costs.
The successful candidate will be a person who enjoys and excels in dealing with significant ambiguity and has keen interest in enterprise procurement and customer experience. They have excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to lead large cross-functional projects including communication across all levels and teams in the organization.

Minimum Qualifications: 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
5+ years of technical product or program management experience
3+ years of software development experience
5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
