Job Description This is an exciting opportunity to join our Managed Sportsbook Services (MSS) tribe in Seville, Spain. We are looking for a hands-on Senior Service Reliability Engineer with a strong technical foundation to oversee our Service Reliability Engineering practice and guide the strategic direction of system reliability within our unit. As Sr SRE you will help define and implement the SRE standards to achieve the highest levels of availability, reliability, security, scalability and performance of our systems. We are looking for a professional who is passionate about investigating, learning, and implementing new ideas and technologies while going beyond the job description to help where needed. RESPONSIBILITIES Propagate SRE culture across the organization by sharing industry best practices, standards, approaches, and code with all teams. Drive the application of SRE principles and best practices into troubleshooting of cross-platform application and infrastructure issues. Lead the adoption of automation into any tasks or parts of the system that would benefit from it or are performed manually. Take active part in the definition and implementation of SLIs and SLOs. Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of continuous monitoring and instant incident response to meet global and internal targets. Create and maintain field-facing knowledge documentation and arrange and execute SRE training sessions and workshops to ensure continuous improvement of our SRE teams. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years experience in IT Operations and Infrastructure support, with at least 3 years working as SRE. Technical proficiency and knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, systems, cloud and on-prem environments, container technology and virtualization. Strong automation, troubleshooting & debugging skills. Experience in monitoring and analysing infrastructure performance. KEY COMPETENCIES Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to simultaneously manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
