We are looking for a Sr. Sales Engineer joining Bridgestone Mobility Solutions dedicated to Webfleet Solutions products and services providing local support to the Webfleet Solutions Team, partners, and larger customers focusing on Spain and Portugal. Hier is a little taste of your challenge: Field support - Pre & Post sales: Provide on-site support or field testing on the request of Webfleet Solutions Customer Support or Development management for very complex technical issues.
Assist the Webfleet Solutions organisation and key partners in resolving complex post-sales technical issues or escalated situations.
Delivering product training to customers, resellers, and colleagues, including on-site and remote Webinars.
Support Key Account Managers in sales meetings with large and corporate customers, validating the technical solution proposed to customers.
Work with the sales team and resellers to lead and support relationships with integrators needed to be part of the technical solutions.
Sales Team Support: Provide support to sales colleagues during the pre-sales and post-sales cycles including tender preparation and response.
Manage customer trials of WEBFLEET and associated partner products, working with sales colleagues to provide ROI case and summarise data captured.
Support colleagues to analyse complex customer technical requirements and make recommendations during the pre-sales cycle.
Provide technical expertise to customers implementation design, initial installation roll-out, and configuration of Webfleet Solutions products in large fleets.
Monitor product roll-out in large fleets and take corrective actions to guarantee smooth implementation in large customer environments.
Help in the creation of initial product training strategies for large customers.
Advise large customers in the setup of customer's internal product support strategy to ensure compatibility with Webfleet Solutions Customer Support processes and procedures.
Training new starters of Webfleet Solutions Iberia team.
Marketing & Events: Working with Marketing Manager and Office Administration team as a key operational person in Iberia team.
Collaborate with the people above to deliver national events/trade shows for prospects, customers, and partners.
Dealing with suppliers and partners for events/trade shows.
Responsible for all product demonstration hardware and displays for trade shows and events.
European Responsibilities: Travel to Amsterdam/Barcelona/Germany typically quarterly (4 times a year).
Act as representative/champion for the Iberia team.
Work collaboratively with other region's Sales Engineers.
Contribute ideas and regional requirements to product team to assist product development.
Confidential Alpha and Beta Product testing of new hardware, software, and mobile Apps.
Software & Hardware Integration: Recruiting new partners/integrators and providing them initial training about hardware and WEBFLEET products functionalities.
Technical contact for integrators for our hardware and APIs, with escalation to support teams.
Assisting partners with knowledge on communication methods such as GPRS, 3G, 4G, Bluetooth, and NFC/RFID.
Understand partner solutions to support resellers and team to suggest best fit solution.
Who are you? There is no set route to become Sales Engineer at Bridgestone Mobility Solutions. But to be successful in this role, this is the kind of profile we have in mind:
University degree educated with excellent written and verbal skills.
A proven background in software and hardware support.
Understanding of electronics and vehicle wiring/electrics.
Experience within the telematics industry is helpful but not mandatory.
A positive and pro-active attitude towards tackling complex post-sales issues.
100% committed to supporting the business achieve its sales objectives.
The ability to demonstrate a hands-on approach to customers.
Experience of managing large customer projects from pre-sales to implementation.
Able to work autonomously with little supervision.
Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Project etc.
Spanish mother tongue & fluent in English. Portuguese helpful but not mandatory.
