Amazon's Translation Services is looking for a Senior Localization Program & Team Manager to drive our global localization strategy and successful delivery of our localized knowledge solutions.

Key Responsibilities: Drive localization strategy and implementation of solutions for Translation Services.Define and manage localization success metrics as they relate to the broader business and organizational goals.Support international expansion of Amazon Business by implementing efficient and scalable localization solutions.Engage cross-functional teams in defining localization strategy for success of international marketplace expansions.Partner with stakeholders across the organization to evangelize localization best practices, improve and automate translation processes and tools, and ensure consistent customer experience globally.Identify process improvements and devise solutions that decrease cost and reduce time-to-market of localized products.Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement programs through automation, simplification, or innovation.Minimum Requirements: 8+ years of experience in Program management/financial/business analysis.2+ years leading team managers.Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights.Advanced Excel skills, ability to create macros, or basic scripting skills.
Knowledge of Python, SQL will be an added advantage.Ability to measure, analyze, and present data to senior leaders.Excellent English language communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work independently in a global, multicultural team.Experience working across time zones with diverse stakeholders.A Day in the Life: MBA or Master's Degree in Project/Program Management or Languages or Linguistics or Translation or a content-related discipline.Qualified in leading industry standards, like Six Sigma or Prince 2 or 4DX or COPC etc.Experience with AWS technologies like Amazon RedShift, S3 and data pipelines etc.2+ years of coding experience with modern programming or scripting languages primarily Python.Experience in translation Management Systems and translation tools.Experience in the localization industry.Experience with Content Management Systems.
