The future is ours to shape!The Sr Manager Tax Accounting & Reporting will play a strategic role in Group Tax Reporting activities by managing recurring global tax disclosures and supporting the cash tax forecasting process; reviewing functional guidance on accounting and reporting topics to local teams. Support on Leadership reporting of tax accounting matters and drive effective financial controls including maintenance and adherence with internal policies/procedures but also external regulatory requirements like Sandoz Accounting Manual, IFRS and Stock Exchange / OECD standards.Your responsibilities will include (and not be limited to):Play a strategic role in tax accounting and reporting across Sandoz, through countries and the Global organization by managing monthly, quarterly and annual global tax processes. Support on Leadership reporting of tax accounting matters.ETR and Cash Tax forecasting and Tax Risk management.Drive innovation and transformation in tax accounting, planning and reporting, shaping and harmonizing processes, master data and systems, working together with Business Units, Divisions, Service Centers, IT, and Financial Controls and Compliance.Provide leadership and collaborate within Sandoz, with industry contacts and auditors, to ensure that upcoming tax accounting matter changes and new reporting requirements under IFRS/ OECD.Ensuring that relevant changes are appropriately reflected in internal manuals and policy documents.Support maintaining and governing a good working relationship with internal and external stakeholders.Enable transparent knowledge exchange with Global Tax Team.Diversity and Inclusion - We are committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve.Minimum RequirementsWhat you'll bring to the role:+10 years in tax positions including at least 4 years in Big 4 firm (or equivalent) and in-house tax experience.CPA desirable and LL.M. in taxation.
