The Role: Reporting to the Country Director / GM Spain, and located remotely in Spain, the Senior Manager, Health Partnership Lead, will be the first customer-facing role on Moderna's newly-chartered mission to commercialize the vaccines which serve previously unmet medical needs.
This brand-new role is critical to Moderna's transition from clinical stage to commercial organization, bringing thought leadership and a drive to win the market to our ambitious team of researchers and clinicians.
You will join a dynamic country organization that is growing fast and blazing trails, and you will bring a relentless drive for excellence, how to shape the market and how to win with our customers in the Public Health space, as well as with Contracting Bodies.
Here's What You Will Do:
Strategize and Think Different
Understand and anticipate the Regional Health Administration's goals and needs across the regional healthcare system and identify business opportunities, leading in alignment with cross-functional teams, the development of integrated account plans.Conceive and develop innovative key account product segmentation and solutions translated across B2C or B2B customer segments that builds and enables a "winning" platform for Moderna's brands and products.Build and develop innovative business solutions that lead to new and non-traditional commercial channels for Moderna's vaccines.Leverage data and digital enablement tools to prioritize opportunities across a dynamic landscape of potential and target key accounts.
Build great relationships and establish trust at multiple levels both within Moderna and our target customers.Build Strong Partnerships, Internally and Externally
Establish and maintain connections externally with targeted customers, including physicians, regional health authorities, corporate, public officials, and other potential customers.
Create account strategies that reflect our approach to solving critical unaddressed health needs.Build and develop access solutions to key customer segments including (but not limited to) Retailers, Wholesalers, Public Channels, Employers, Health Networks, and other channels.Build and maintain a working understanding of the competitive landscape for our key products (mRNA-1273 COVID-19 Vaccine and mRNA-1647 CMV Vaccine, initially) and the policy environment around these products.Execute on key commercial projects
Be a key player in building Moderna's Vaccines commercial organization, in partnership with a newly forming team that will blaze trails in brand new markets and grow Moderna at an accelerated pace.Implement the local tender strategy and deliver best-practice project management oversight for key account activities to ensure Moderna lives up to its promise to patients.Manage appointed distributors and agents, ensuring their use is optimized while maintaining an appropriate relationship with the end customer.Comply with corporate policies and procedures as well as all applicable healthcare laws and regulations. Within a Month, you will:Finish onboarding and begin your core role as a Health Partnership Lead.Clearly understand the company position and its commercial strategy.Start owning our Mindsets and Values and becoming a driving force behind Moderna's promise of mRNA science to create a new generation of transformative medicines for patients. Within 3 Months, you will...Start establishing a regional strategic plan of Public Tenders through tender shaping, development of public health plans at regional level.Fully grasp the vision and value-added of our platform and ramp up your external activities.Own your market and boldly define key initiatives likely to drive commercial engagement.Continue to develop insightful partnerships, driving value throughout the country organization. Within 6 Months, you will:Be responsible for the implementation of the different strategic lines at regional level of Market Access (recommendations and financing).
