Job Description The job: The Sr Director, Project Management is a key role within our Clinical Delivery Services Division (part of Thermo Fisher Scientific's newly acquired PPD clinical research organization), providing strategic leadership and management in the direction and execution of the operations and resourcing for the business in a complex cross-functional environment. This includes developing and implementing strategies that ensure continuous process improvement and optimize organizational performance, processes, and associated systems, training and communications in order to achieve business goals and objectives. The role also provides advice and strategic guidance to staff and directs business strategy and operational efficiency.
The role is being offered as fully remote (working from home) based anywhere in Europe or eastern timezone USA. Some international travel may be required – up to 10% per annum – including overnight stays.

What will you do? Lead large, complex, cross-functional initiatives and teamsAssist Executive Management with the development of business roadmaps to support the organizational future state and alignment to department and company goalsAct as a Champion for organizational changes and initiatives to support company objectivesProvoke critical thinking and drive innovation in the team related to execution of delivery, budget, quality, and prioritizationAssist in the development of group AOP - ensuring appropriate business approvals are obtained for projectsWho we are looking for: Extensive senior-level Project Management experience in a complex international organization, delivering change programmesA background in CRO, pharma, or life science industry, or business consultancy (working with similar clients) strongly preferredExpert knowledge of the key principles of cross-functional project management (Time, Quality, Cost)Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Agile, and Scrum methodologiesFamiliar with formal change management processes and methods (Prosci or similar approach)Skilled in process improvement and strategic development, especially as it applies to clinical trials, clinical development, and project managementOutstanding analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills, including complex evaluations of intangible variablesStrong financial savvy with an in-depth knowledge and practical application of budgeting, forecasting, and resource managementAccomplished executive presence, consultation, and presentation skillsExpert negotiation and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence others and get resultsConsistent track record driving corporate strategies that capture, engage, and retain repeat customersAdvanced level of EnglishWhat's in it for you: We offer competitive remuneration, annual incentive plan bonus, healthcare, and a range of employee benefits. Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in Ireland is €136,500.00–€204,750.00.
