Reporting to the President, the Controller will play a pivotal role within the organization, overseeing the comprehensive financial operations. The role necessitates a hands-on approach, requiring the appointed individual to immerse themselves in day-to-day financial functions. The Financial Coordinator will be dedicated to enhancing operational efficiencies and perpetually enhancing team functions to foster sustained growth.

Responsibilities
Supervise daily operations of the financial department, encompassing payables, receivables, ledger maintenance, payroll, and financial transactions.
Monitor the company's financial plan, assessing variances and presenting findings to the management cohort.
Compile monthly financial statements for internal and external stakeholders' review.
Devise and implement a framework of accounting protocols, methodologies, and internal checks.
Generate requisite reports in adherence to legal, regulatory, and corporate guidelines.
Facilitate financial due diligence and integration efforts during merger and acquisition activities, ensuring seamless transition and alignment with organizational objectives.
Ensure compliance with standardized accounting practices, policies, and protocols.
Facilitate year-end financial reporting and liaison with external accounting affiliates.
Serve as a primary liaison with vendors, financial institutions, and lessors.
Qualifications
Academic background in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
Minimum of 8 years of Accounting/Finance experience.
Canadian CPA accreditation
Exemplary technical acumen and analytical prowess, coupled with a keen eye for detail and precision.
Effective and strategic communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrable track record in orchestrating end-to-end financial operations.
Proven aptitude for multitasking with a proactive, hands-on approach.
Ability to manage a large team
