What you will do The Senior Commercial Operations Specialist for Industrial Refrigeration Global will enhance operational excellence and sales effectiveness across regions, supporting the commercial team in driving business growth. This pivotal role involves overseeing operations, optimizing sales tools and processes, and leveraging data-driven insights to align with Johnson Controls' strategic goals.
Reporting to the Business Development Director, the Specialist will collaborate with international sales teams to streamline processes and improve sales discipline, enabling the commercial team to achieve targets. By utilizing analytics and process optimization, you will develop strategies that drive success and support Johnson Controls' global objectives.
How you will do it Enhance Sales Effectiveness: Collaborate with global and regional sales teams to implement best practices and optimize processes for improved performance.
Optimize Sales Tools and Engagement: Manage and enhance sales tools to drive user adoption and engagement, maximizing their impact.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement operational enhancements that streamline processes and shorten the sales cycle.
Leverage Data Analytics: Utilize data analytics to monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights that drive growth.
Forward-Looking Analysis: Deliver leading indicators such as pipeline insights, new pipeline creation, year-to-date win rates, and plan versus outlook comparisons to boost performance.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to align efforts with commercial objectives and support sales initiatives consistently.
Develop Reporting Tools: Create and maintain dashboards and reports to provide visibility into key performance metrics, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
What we look for Required Minimum of 7 years' experience in commercial operations, sales enablement, or similar roles.
Hands-on experience in industrial, HVAC, or refrigeration sectors.
Proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Demonstrated experience in operational improvements and sales process optimization.
Familiarity with CRM SalesForce, ERP and sales management systems.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across global teams.
Highly analytical and process-oriented.
A high degree of proactivity, creativity and latitude is expected.
