Job Summary: Ensure the most efficient means are employed to produce an accurate timely payroll, as well as providing up to date guidance on potential impact to management and employees.
How you will make an impact: Independently seek, develop, and propose improvements to efficiently process high-volume bi-monthly payroll cycle including overseeing system upgrades, releases, patches, enhancements, and new versions.
Developing spreadsheets for independent calculation of payroll requirements, (e.g., LOAs, retroactive termination payments, anticipated severance payments that cannot be handled by the system; this includes ongoing reviews of compensation payments prior to system entry.
Time and Attendance system administrator; identify process improvement areas, recommend business solutions, and collaborate with vendor to execute proposed solutions.
Develop and analyze complex queries and ad hoc reports to meet data request specifications from internal and external sources, as well as determining most efficient and effective software for report production.
Determine need for and provide guidance to employees to ensure their understanding of a variety of complex payroll implications, e.g., multi-state taxation, relocation.
Responsible for proper filing and archiving of data/documents.
Submit payroll data to vendor for processing in a timely manner.
Attend to internal/external Auditors.
Responsible for generating monthly payroll/attendance/leave data for stakeholders.
Represent Edwards to third-party vendors to ensure services provided meet company standards.
Develop and lead complex projects and initiatives and ensuring adoption by users.

What you will need: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Computer Systems, or related field, 6 years of previous related experience in Payroll analysis Required.
What else we look for: Proven expertise in MS Office Suite and payroll related systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives.
Proven success adhering to and leading project schedules and managing more complex sections of projects.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of payroll analysis.
Extensive understanding of payroll principles, practice and standards.
