The role involves working within the Project team, and is typically responsible for the direction, coordination and oversight of SQS and Expediting teams. Its underlying concerns will be: Efficient administration of Resources Sustainable quality of Deliverables Effective interfacing with Clients, Suppliers and Project team As SQS Coordinator and Expediting Lead, you will be responsible for: Selecting, deploying and overseeing Field Inspectors, both from Company and Agencies. Facilitating the effective implementation of SQS programs within Projects. Reviewing Surveillance programs for consistency with criticality assessments and contractual and regulatory obligations. Performing routine SQS functions including planning, Inspection and Test Plan review, deviation and non-conformance management, inspection release and Project reporting. Interfacing with Clients and Suppliers. Reviewing inspection reports and ensuring their technical quality. Allocating resources and time, and tracking, verifying and reporting, ensuring fulfilment of Project requirements and constraints. Planning, organizing and providing purpose and intent for project Expediting activities and can be actively involved as Senior figure in critical POs. Acquiring data to measure Supplier progress. Monitoring and reporting progress to Project Management. Detecting blocking points and following up their progress and solution. Reviewing SDRL's and commenting Preparing Inspection Plans for issuance with enquiry packages Providing SQS man-hour estimates for individual SQS assignment packages Developing Project Inspection Schedule with the support of Project planner Revising Inspection plans and aligning with agreed Vendor Quality Control (QC) program after VCM. Reviewing with engineering supplier enquiry response to QC scope/content of Vendor bid packages. Completing Vendor assessments as required. Attending VCM and Post Award Vendor Meetings. Forecasting manning requirements to maintain schedules. Issuing Safe Plan of Action (SPA) Reviewing Completed Safe plan of Action (SPA) Reviewing and Issuing Inspection Assignment packages Management/co-ordination of Inspection visits (directly with inspectors, or third-Party Inspection company) Minimum Requirements ACADEMIC BACKGROUND University Degree, or equivalent, in related field with no previous management experience
