A strong background in SQL development, particularly in creating data warehouse solutions, is essential.You must understand advanced SQL techniques such as looping logic, indexing temporary tables, and other sophisticated database strategies. The ability to write optimized and performant SQL code is crucial.Familiarity with additional programming languages like Python is required. Experience in developing reporting solutions using Power BI in a self-service environment is also necessary.You will be tasked with supporting and administering the SQL data warehouse and Azure Data Factory. A solid understanding of Azure tools, including Data Factory and Databricks, is important for this role.You will be responsible for debugging, monitoring, and troubleshooting BI solutions.You should have a strong understanding of leading extract, transform, and load (ETL) tools.You will develop techniques for quality data collection to ensure data adequacy, accuracy, and legitimacy.Recognizing business requirements within the BI context, you will create data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights.You will provide oversight on database structure models in alignment with BI strategy and corporate KPIs.You should have experience developing models, queries, and views within project timelines, with a focus on meeting deadlines.Strong knowledge of implementing security in a SQL Data Warehouse environment, spanning data such as row level security and applying security to individuals access such as active directory or role level security.A background in working with SAP, Salesforce, and non-SAP ERP systems is also required.QualificationsKey Qualifications and SkillsBackground as a Senior Developer specializing in Microsoft SQL Data Warehousing.Experienced in managing cloud-based database solutions (Azure, AWS, Google).Proficient with tools such as Databricks, Data Factory, Python, and various data analysis and integration platforms.Skilled in BI tools and systems, particularly Power BI.Capable of developing SQL structures to support a Business Intelligence strategy.Strong understanding of Logical, Physical, and Canonical Models, with the ability to create and present them effectively.Hands on experience in utilising an ETL (Extract Transform & Load) toolset.Extensive experience in building data cubes for self-service reporting.Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, etc.).Possesses an analytical mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Experienced in managing third-party software and support organizations.Adept at simplifying complex issues for non-technical audiences.Ability to influence and collaborate with global colleagues at all levels, including directors.Additional InformationLocationBased in The PhilippinesHome-based initially until facility established in Metro Manilla (expected Ortigas, Metro Manila area)
