We are looking for a fast-paced, organized, proactive Junior Accountant with a thirst for learning and personal development mixed with excellent skills in accounting.
Responsibilities Collect and sort invoices and checksKeep a thorough record of business transactions and enter data from daily work logs into the company's general ledger systemSupport supervisory and executive staff by performing any assigned accounting and clerical tasksKeep a thorough record of all company charges, as well as any refunds that have been issuedKeep track of any consumer issues that require a refund and ensure that the refunds are issued in a timely mannerAssist senior personnel with any tasks conducted within the departmentKey in or type up any documents or items that the accounting department is responsible for, including checks and invoices, as well as vouchers, accounting statements, and other reports and recordsProcess invoices/bills so that they can be paid Requirements A strong interest in the Crypto / Blockchain sectorA degree in a relevant fieldA comprehensive understanding of accounting practices and proceduresThe ability to act responsibly and ethically when working with sensitive financial informationSolid communication skills, with proficiency in speaking and writingStrong people skillsKnowledge of local, state, and federal financial regulations and compliance Benefits Remote work in a dynamic, fast-growth startupOpportunity of working with bleeding-edge technologyClose collaboration with leading projects and thought leaders in the spaceAttractive compensation with upside potential If you are interested in joining our team, please apply.
