About the Role: We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join our dynamic international school community at Colegio Internacional Torrequebrada in Benalmádena, Málaga. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Physical Education across various grade levels, fostering a rich learning environment that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and a healthy lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities: Teach Physical Education courses from year 2 up to year 11, engaging students in both theoretical and practical aspects of the subject.
Prepare and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to a diverse student body.
Develop and continuously update unit plans, ensuring alignment with school objectives and standards with the IB curriculum.
Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies.
Collaborate with fellow educators to create cohesive and comprehensive instructional strategies.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their academic and physical fitness goals.
Encourage students to actively participate in physical activities and foster a classroom environment of respect and teamwork.
Participate in school community activities, including extracurricular sports programs and events, contributing to the holistic development of students.
Qualifications: Spanish Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field; Master's degree for teaching in Secondary School.
Valid teaching certification in Spain for Secondary School. Spanish or already homologated with the master.
Bilingual proficiency in English (C1 or more).
Experience teaching Physical Education in an international school setting.
Strong understanding of best practices in physical education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
