The Sibelco Group operates over 110 production sites in 31 countries, with a team of over 5,000 people.Location: Bilbao HQ OfficeWe are looking for a Treasury Specialist to be located in our Bilbao Office reporting directly to the Treasury Director of the group.As Treasury Specialist, you will manage and monitor global treasury back-office activities, including daily cash management for the group and responsibilities for the internal treasury company accounting.Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Cash managementVerify bank statements and reconcile balances.Collect, reconcile and resolve bank abnormalities related to interests, guarantees and bank costs.Management of the cash pools, opening, closing, moving accounts and oversight of treasury transactions initiated by the group.Responsibility over treasury, payments and internal Fx deals, respecting timelines, and value dates.Compliance with external treasury reporting.Treasury accountingAccounting of the treasury transactions in the ERP (SAP), including fees on funding, interest on loans and revaluation of balance sheet items in foreign currencies.Follow up on hedge accounting.Responsible for the closing and reporting of the financial statements of the treasury and internal reassurance company to the group.To be successful in the role of Treasury Specialist, you have:Bachelor's degree / Master's Degree in a related fieldAt least 5 years of experience in a similar role with proven experience in treasury accounting under IFRS.Accuracy and focus on process improvement.Good communicator with a proactive approach.Oral and written fluency in English and Spanish are a must.But most importantly, if you embrace our core values, and if this role sparks your enthusiasm to apply your passion to contribute in a meaningful way as a part of Sibelco's team of unique talents within a diverse international business community, then we very much look forward to hearing from you.
