The Sibelco Group operates over 110 production sites in 31 countries, with a team of over 5,000 people.Location:ArcosRole Purpose:The Sustainability Specialist provides know-how within their own area of expertise to support the CoE in the development and implementation of global strategies, programs and standards while keeping a holistic view, having good knowledge of legal frameworks in the countries and ensuring consistency in the way of working of local sustainability organizations.Responsibilities:Support the strategic permitting for the operations and/or take the lead, to ensure the legal and social license to operate.Support to manage environmental and sustainability compliance and risks while proactively working with operations to meet regulatory compliance obligations.Assist with the management of land holdings (freehold and leasehold), working with landlords and landowners in order to secure the long-term future of mineral supply.Implement policies, guidelines and strategies from Global Sustainability relating to Environmental and Social Governance.Engage with different stakeholders in the permitting processes and throughout the lifecycle of the site.
