Specialist Solution Architect Lead

Responsible for supporting the development of the Enterprise Architecture capability within the MPN & Cloud technology portfolio, including Vodafone-Kyndryl Virtual Joint Venture, Public Cloud Resale and Multi-Edge Computing.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership: Production and maintenance of architecture assessments and blueprints for solutions and roadmaps for their desired end-states – in the information system and technology architecture domains.
Capturing, documenting, and sharing Architecture best practices and building and maintaining relationships with other Architecture areas within Vodafone.
Providing guidance to product and solution architects/designers that are contributing to the Cloud & Edge Architecture or making use of it for Customer solutions.
Developing cross technology architecture strategy through the formation of working groups relating to enterprise product and business system technologies.
Assessment and approval of Kyndryl architecture and designs as proposed within the Virtual Joint Venture.
Core competencies, knowledge, and experience: Self-motivated/self-starter with strong leadership, communication and influencing skills (up to C-Level) and the ability to build and maintain strong positive relationships with business users and stakeholders at all levels.
5+ years of working within a technology organisation in a similar role, leading end to end solution development / solution assurance and leading matrix teams.
Deep understanding and experience in the application of Architecture frameworks and techniques.
Experience in developing strategies and future state architectures across several domain areas.
Experience in implementing and adapting architecture techniques within multiple delivery scenarios (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, DevOps etc).
Degree level qualification.
Desirable technical / professional qualifications: TOGAF, TM Forum standards (e.g., ODA), ITIL, SAFe, etc.
