The Sibelco Group operates over 110 production sites in 31 countries, with a team of over 5,000 people.Location: Bilbao HQ OfficeRole Purpose: We are looking for a Specialist M&A to support the Corporate Development team, and more specifically the M&A team, in executing M&A transactions from initial M&A target analyses, financial modelling, due diligence up to M&A deal closing and preparing for integration into the business. In this role, you will be reporting to the M&A Director.Responsibilities:Keep an overview of and visualize the universe of M&A targets (long list, radar list, short list, and active list of M&A targets), information on strategic fit, target attractiveness, prioritization, and status.Support in the development of standard, best-practice M&A templates (e.g., financial models, due diligence reports, Board memos).Keep track of relevant M&A developments in the industrial minerals and glass recycling industries as well as any new information on the most interesting M&A targets (esp. radar & short list).Perform in-depth analysis of M&A target business, financial statement, company fundamentals, growth, market potential, technology, business model, competitor landscape, and strategic fit to assess M&A target attractiveness and challenges.Develop M&A target teasers & descriptions.Identify synergies and develop financial models/business plans to determine valuation and price proposal.Contribute to the due diligence process, coordinating due diligence activities and requirements across functions, identifying key risks & opportunities.Qualifications:University master's degree – preferably Business or Finance.Ideally 2 or more years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, banking, or similar.Experience in navigating in an international environment.English – full professional proficiency in both verbal & written English.Any other language is a plus.But most importantly, if you embrace our core values, and if this role sparks your enthusiasm to apply your passion to contribute in a meaningful way as a part of Sibelco's team of unique talents within a diverse international business community, then we very much look forward to hearing from you.To Apply: Please click apply to register your information and contact details on the recruitment portal so one of our team can get in touch.Inclusive Team Culture: Sibelco recognizes the strength of our diverse global workforce and values difference and inclusion for all.
