30226 – SPECIALIST INTERNAL CONTROL FINANCIAL REPORTING At Eni we are looking for a Specialist Internal Control Financial Reporting for our Plenitude Iberia offices in Madrid.
You will be collaborating with the implementation of the internal control system (SOX), ensuring compliance with internal regulations in the renewables energy sector, while being part of a fast-growing international company with exciting challenges ahead.
About Plenitude: Eni Plenitude is an energy company that integrates the retail business and renewable generation with self-consumption and electric mobility solutions, providing energy and gas to more than 10 million homes and businesses across Europe.
This membership represents a major European project integrating the renewables business with the retail business and will allow us to progressively increase our offer of services, infrastructures and green energy for our customers, providing our team with greater professional projection and growth.
As a member of the Finance Department, you will be responsible for:
Analysis of the activities that integrate the relevant processes.Identification and analysis of the main risks related to financial information.Identification of necessary controls and evaluation of their design.Reviewing the adequacy and performance of the controls in place.Supporting the business in defining and implementing appropriate management systems for the main risks and related controls.Regular monitoring of the adequacy and effective performance of controls over financial reporting.Identification of deficiencies and subsequent follow-up of corrective actions.Support in reporting activities to the parent company and management of Eni´s group tools dedicated to maintaining the Internal Control System.Participation in the potential transformation of the corporate structure guaranteeing the effectiveness of the Internal Control System.Collaborating with key internal stakeholders on the adoption of internal processes, procedures and documents.Overseeing that the internal regulatory system is properly implemented in the company.Being the ambassador of the company's values internally and externally.This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:
Bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Applied Science, or a related field.Specialised industry knowledge in Auditing or Internal Control.Knowledge of the renewable energy sector.Organisational skills.Strong analytical thinking skills.Fluent in English and Spanish languages.Location: Madrid, Spain
