SEK Santa Isabel is seeking to hire a Spanish as a Second or Third Language Teacher.FUNCTIONS:Provide Spanish as a Second Language (SSL) instruction to Multilingual Learners identified as Spanish Learners.Collaborate and communicate with the students' teacher(s) to align instruction and support to both the students' Spanish language development.Develop program. Plan and deliver lessons aligned to WIDA Instructional Standards and deliver appropriate lessons for varying levels of Spanish proficiency.Demonstrate cultural proficiency and use effective and culturally-relevant instructional practices.Demonstrate an understanding or be willing to acquire fluency using WIDA's ELD Standards Framework.Engage and collaborate with families, building collaborative, respectful relationships with them in service of student learning.Support learners and their families in their cultural adaptation to Spain, promoting the development of socio-emotional well-being.Plan and execute multi-cultural events in the school.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in Primary Education.Masters, Expert, or Course in teaching Spanish or English as a second language.At least 3 years teaching Spanish as a second language in a school setting.Experience living abroad.Languages: Spanish and English.WE OFFER:Contract: Permanent.Schedule: 8:50 – 17:15h Monday to Friday.
