RINA is currently recruiting for a Spain Non - Food Certification Lead Auditor to join its office in Madrid within the Certification Europe Region Division.
Mission
The role focuses on ensuring that clients' processes and systems adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements through comprehensive audits.
Key Accountabilities
Prepare, manage and control the audit program.
Assign the audit team.
Check the customer documents management system documents (manuals, procedures, instructions, files, records), technical documents, and other documents supporting the audit.
Plan the audits.
Participate in and conduct audits (carry out interviews, take notes during the audit).
Identify and define the results of the audit (positive and negative findings as non-conformities, opportunities for improvement).
Draw up the audit reports.
Follow up on the results of the audit (non-conformities and corrective action management).
Carry out technical reviews of files and decide on certification.
Keep skills/qualifications/certifications up to date.
Maintain updated data of the customer and other data relevant to the audit process.
Demonstrate customer focus, striving for high customer satisfaction, understanding the requests and needs of the customer, and being responsive for the quality and effectiveness of the audit activities.
What are we looking for
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Quality Management, Environmental Science).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, with at least 2 years in a lead auditor role for non-food certification.
Lead Auditor certification for relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) is mandatory.
Good English level.
In-depth understanding of non-food certification standards and regulatory requirements.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel frequently for on-site audits.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to manage audit teams and interact effectively with clients.
