MISSION Reporting to the Strategic Development Director , as a member of the Project Development team, the Grid Connection Manager will lead the key aspects of the grid connection point identification and application process for renewable energy projects (wind, solar, Bess) in Spain.
This person will play an essential role in ensuring the correct management of the Company's existing grid connection points and the identification/request of new grid connection points.
RESPONSIBIILITIES Formulate and implement strategies to identify and secure new grid connections to support the development of Solarpack's energy projects in Spain.
Manage the process of requesting, modifying and hybridizing grid connection points.
Build a network of high-quality contacts with external consultants, Distribution Network Operators (DNO) and Transmission Network Operators (TNO).
Coordinate and supervise the access and connection team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS Electrical Engineering or similar university degree.
Intermediate level of English (B2).
AutoCAD, QGIS.
More than 5 years of experience in obtaining and managing grid connections for energy projects in Spain.
Excellent knowledge of the Spanish grid, connection processes and regulations .
Grid connection experience in all phases of the project, from initial design to commissioning.
A strong network of expert consultants and DNO/TNO contacts.
Previous experience in equipment management.
Ability to motivate, guide and develop team members, inspiring them to reach their full potential and contribute to the overall success of the project.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities and meet tight deadlines efficiently.
Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems effectively, using a creative and collaborative approach.
Flexibility to adjust to changes in the work environment and project priorities, as well as ability to lead the team in times of change.
