It is not expected that all tasks listed here be performed by a single person, but rather in cooperation with the rest of the team, where responsibilities are assigned based on individual experience and capabilities.
Therefore, candidates with different levels of experience, from juniors to seniors, will be considered.Tasks and responsibilitiesMISSION:Mission requirements analysisMission concept and architecture definitionEvaluation of alternatives for each mission segmentMission analysis and compensation studies to define the appropriate orbit and constellation configurationDevelopment of mission analysis toolsCommunication with mission partnersManagement of the roadmap for mission implementation, considering technical and programmatic aspectsCoordination of the implementation and execution of mission elements (satellite, launch, ground segment)OPERATIONS:Design and definition of satellite operations for specific missionsMonitoring and control of satellites using mission control softwareDesign and optimization of mission control softwareDevelopment of simulation algorithms and toolsDevelopment of flight dynamics algorithms and tools, and testing in orbitManagement of necessary hw/sw tests and reportsTechnical documentation and test reportingSYSTEMS:Mission requirements analysisDefinition of satellite system requirementsDesign and analysis of satellite systemsSupervision of satellite development and simulation/test resultsAnalysis of satellite performance and system budgets (mass, power, pointing, communication link, etc.
)Modelling, design and thermal analysis of complete subsystems and satellitesPosition Requirements:Deep passion for technology, hardware/software development, and space missionsBachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience.
Additionally, qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, Telecommunications, Software Engineering, or equivalent will be valuedProblem-solving focus, proactivityTeam spirit, versatility, and creativityNegotiation level in EnglishBasic programming knowledgeDesired Experience & StrengthsExperience in using software such as STK or similarExperience in using Mission Analysis softwareExperience in the design/analysis/implementation of space missions and/or projects; those related to Earth observation will be favoredAdvanced level and experience in Python software developmentExperience in developing algorithms for satellite/mission analysisKnowledge/experience with data science techniquesKnowledge/Experience in orbital mechanicsKnowledge/Experience in spacecraft flight dynamicsKnowledge/Experience in spacecraft designExperience in satellite operationsLanguages:Fluency in spoken and written English is essential.
