.Bilbao Posted 1 day ago SATLANTIS is seeking profiles of Mission, Operations, and Space Systems Engineer for : 1) The Design, Analysis, and Implementation of Earth Observation Satellite Missions; 2) The Design and Analysis of Satellite Subsystems; 3) The Operation(Tracking and Control) of Satellites In Orbit. Below is a detailed list of tasks falling within this area. It is not expected that all tasks listed here be performed by a single person, but rather in cooperation with the rest of the team, where responsibilities are assigned based on individual experience and capabilities. Therefore, candidates with different levels of experience, from juniors to seniors, will be considered. Tasks and responsibilities MISSION: Mission requirements analysis Mission concept and architecture definition Evaluation of alternatives for each mission segment Mission analysis and compensation studies to define the appropriate orbit and constellation configuration Development of mission analysis tools Communication with mission partners Management of the roadmap for mission implementation, considering technical and programmatic aspects Coordination of the implementation and execution of mission elements (satellite, launch, ground segment) OPERATIONS: Design and definition of satellite operations for specific missions Monitoring and control of satellites using mission control software Design and optimization of mission control software Development of simulation algorithms and tools Development of flight dynamics algorithms and tools, and testing in orbit Management of necessary hw/sw tests and reports Technical documentation and test reporting SYSTEMS: Mission requirements analysis Definition of satellite system requirements Design and analysis of satellite systems Supervision of satellite development and simulation/test results Analysis of satellite performance and system budgets (mass, power, pointing, communication link, etc.) Modelling, design and thermal analysis of complete subsystems and satellites Position Requirements: Deep passion for technology, hardware/software development, and space missions Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience
