For our client, European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA), we are looking for multiple Space System Engineers for multiple locations in Europe: Prague (Czech Republic), Madrid (Spain) and Noordwijk (GRC).
The activities below will include frequent access to EUSPA classified security areas and systems and will require the candidate to have a Security Clearance.
Meetings to other EUSPA premises in Europe is foreseen.
Main Responsibilities As Space System Engineer you will concentrate your activities on the following: Contribute to the technical management of the system and segment infrastructure evolution activities; Support the system development follow up, system qualification and acceptance activities; Participation to system anomaly review board UNCLA/CLA and contribution to the analysis of system anomalies in terms of requirements affected and potential impact on services; Analyse requirements traceability from mission level (MRD), down to GSRD and segment requirements to confirm compliance to Exploitation, Mission and Security requirements; Prepare the acceptance milestone internally in EUSPA and in close coordination with external partners; Contribute to trade-offs at EUSPA level between different deployment and migration approach scenarios, ensuring GNSS service continuity during migration activities; Prepare for, participate and represent EUSPA in relevant boards if so requested by EUSPA on a case by case basis providing a specific mandate, such as Change Control Boards, from the system and infrastructure point of view; Analyse changes to be implemented in the system in operation and provide an assessment of their adequacy and impact on the system qualification; Produce and maintain up-to-date the physical architecture diagrams to reflect the actual status of the system deployed and operated; Successful Candidate Do you think you are the person we are looking for?
See below what experience or knowledge you should bring: MANDATORY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED From 2 to 10 years of relevant experience in space system and segment infrastructure design and development in the space industry; Experience in GNSS in particular on Galileo and EGNOS is a strong asset; Experience with COMSEC items and PRS information is a strong asset; Experience with DOORS is a Plus; Availability to go on missions; Comfortable with working in a diverse and multinational team environment; Proficient in the English language, both written and spoken; Knowledge of another EU member state language is an asset; Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU; Candidates must be eligible to obtain a EU Security Clearance; About the Company Why should you join Serco?
