What's the Job?
The moment a guest steps into our InterContinental Spa, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience.
As a Spa Therapist , you will deliver an extraordinary wellness experience to our guests and ensure complete guest satisfaction.
Your day-to-day Perform Spa Treatments according to the guest's preference.
Coordinate with reception colleagues regarding bookings and availability.
Create a warm welcoming & friendly atmosphere.
Be very aware of environmental hygiene standards as well as maintain the highest standard in personal hygiene.
Conducts several daily inspections to ensure the cleanliness of areas under management, reporting defects and cleanliness issues to appropriate personnel.
Maintain Health and Safety aspects of Spa/Spa Treatment Rooms.
Ensure all Spa equipment is in working order.
Clean up at the end of each shift and after servicing each client.
Apply suggestive retail selling techniques to maximize service and recognize opportunities to sell, add-on sell, and up-sell.
Promote enthusiastically all classes, activities, treatments & services that are offered in Spa & Recreation.
Participates in training sessions, briefings, and meetings as and when requested.
May assist with other duties like bookings or reception as needed.
What we need from you Professional Certificate in Massage Techniques / Body Therapies or Related Field.
Minimum 1-year experience in spas.
Hotel and 5 experience preferred.
Fluent in Spanish and an intermediate level of English – another language would be great.
User Level Computer Skills.
Flexibility to work different shifts and weekends.
Proactive, team player, and service-oriented.
