Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain a thorough knowledge of and comply with all department policies, service procedures, and standards.Ability to handle customer complaints and ensure necessary follow-up.Participate in scheduling and record keeping to ensure adequate coverage.Assist in the development of policies and procedures for all areas of Spa operation.Create and maintain a professional, safe, and nurturing environment where the spa experience lends itself to making a difference in the lives of our guests.Organize and monitor the reception and follow-up of guests.Ensure that treatment protocol is adhered to and that treatments are performed correctly.Drive the creation of welcome protocols.Ensure optimal use of all facilities and maximize profitability.Ensure excellent relationships with suppliers.Ensure customer satisfaction during and after service delivery.Ensure compliance with hotel standards.Manage customer complaints.Manage the SPA on a commercial level: propose and execute specific commercial actions, supervise products and competition, participate in the sale of specific SPA products and services.Develop and implement the sales action plan in his/her department to develop turnover.Participate in the preparation of the annual budgets of his/her department, analyze the results, and implement the necessary corrective actions.Actively participate in inventories and justify discrepancies.Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 4 years of spa supervisory experience in a luxury spa environment, preferably within a luxury hotel.
Education: Diploma or degree in a related field, equivalent vocational training certificate.
Combination of education and experience.
High level of Spanish and English.
Other languages will be highly appreciated.
General skills:
Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.Prioritize, organize, and follow up.Work as a team player with co-workers.Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.High level of energy and enthusiasm, with a passion for the business and doing what it takes to achieve goals.
