Say farewell to the ordinary, and hello to the extraordinary! Job DescriptionWhat you'll do We are looking for an experienced Spa Manager to join the pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. Under the guidance of the Hotel Manager, the Spa Manager will be in charge of the hotel wellness facility and managing its operations and business sides:
You'll manage and oversee spa operations of the spa facilities to ensure successful achievement of overall business goals and objectives.You'll ensure an excellent spa and guest experience.You'll ensure that the spa operates cost effectively and efficiently.You'll implement inventory control procedures to ensure that adequate stock levels are maintained.You'll develop budgets and short to long range strategic planning for the operation of the spa.You'll develop the spa's standard operating procedures and policies.You'll work with the Sales & Marketing team regarding all aspects of spa promotions.You'll ensure compliance with applicable health regulations and hygiene standards.You'll maintain thorough knowledge of competitors, including location, product offering, pricing, promotions and sales techniques.QualificationsWhat we are looking for... +3 years experience in a management or supervisory position in a spa or related field.Previous experience in hospitality within luxury hotels.Proven team leader with a high level of energy and motivation with a proven track record of living the company's values.You've certification in massage therapy or aesthetics from a recognized institution.Proficient knowledge of computer systems such as: Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook is required.Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in Spanish and English. Additional languages will be highly valuable.You make people feel good - your team, guests and colleagues alike.
