Microsoft Consumer Sales Organization (CSO) works across all Microsoft products and services sold to Consumers, from Xbox to Surface, Office and Windows. The CSO team partners with internal and external customers alike with the goal of maximizing revenue, market share, and mutual profit ensuring the highest ethics and compliance in any action. EMEA CSO Finance is a truly global finance team highly engaged in developing its talent and making them evolve in a moving environment. EMEA CSO Finance spans all finance functions; we work with Marketing to drive our product categories, with Supply and Ops to ensure we have the right product in the right places, Sales to understand our Partner Account mechanics and Channel Strategy, manage the organization's Rhythm of Business (RoB) and are custodians of the P&L. We chart our growth path in existing businesses and in net new areas for the company, whilst prioritizing creating a more inclusive Microsoft across our products, our culture, and our marketing and every customer engagement.

The South West Gaming Retail Senior Finance Manager role is an excellent opportunity to be at the heart of a dynamic and growing business. Partnering with Gaming Category Management, Marketing, as well as Channel Sales Leads to manage, grow and review the financial performance of the business, identify and critically assess investment opportunities and provide actionable insights to stakeholders in the business optimizing between margin & share to drive profitable sustainable growth and shape the landing of our WW/EMEA/SW strategy in market. The role requires solid financial acumen combined with a deep passion for our consumer business to evolve in that role. Responsibilities: Prioritize: Drives the overall finance performance and forecast accuracy for the Gaming business working with the Category and GEO teams to understand the drivers and the levers available to influence - proactively flagging upsides, risks, actions needed and managing the overall investments and Gross Margin. Delivers results through tracking performance, report accuracy, and partnering with business leaders to ensure execution of plans and accountability for results. Manages the rhythm of the business for area of responsibility including monthly close, recurring business review preparation and budgeting. Contributes to key financial processes (outlook, forecast, budget) in conjunction with the EMEA team - be the voice of business partners, champion simplicity, drive consistency, focus & prioritization on what matters, provide objective risk / upside assessment - ensure all of this is delivered within the existing standard CSO finance processes.Partnership: Shares business insights and advances solutions and action plans to drive business goals and short-term accountabilities. Provides credible insights into industry benchmarks and consumer trends to drive growth. Implements creative ways to show patterns and draw conclusions to help drive decisions and clearly communicate findings. Articulates understanding and awareness of business partner situation. Works directly with business partners to translate top-down targets to an accountable budget for each group. Completes and reviews analysis, modeling, and research to support preliminary and adjusted forecast cycles. Partners and solicits insight from business and commercial stakeholders. Strong partnership with Supply and Ops and the EMEA Gaming community to drive cross-group alignment to a single source of the truth for critical items like Supply, Inventory, New Product launches, Subscription dynamics, etc. and to get it appropriately reflected in CFO forecast Budget cycles. Facilitates to resolve complex issues. Manages and executes processes through engagement with internal and external stakeholders.Protect: Drives the right tone from executive leadership and ensures strict adherence and understanding of Microsoft policies on risk and compliance. Influences leadership to ensure compliance is a top priority and modeled throughout the organization. Drives a compliant culture through actions and decisions to instill trust. Advocates, educates, and promotes best practices and new developments. Encourages asking questions and identifying risks to compliance. Champions Microsoft privacy, security, and ethical standards. Advances key compliance initiatives. Qualifications: Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND post-graduate financial analysis experience.
