Report to the Product Development Manager South Europe and propose appropriate technical and economical solutions.Define cable designs, define prototypes, issue trial orders, plan the prototypes production with factory scheduling, follow the production of prototypes in the factory, document the conditions of productions of the prototypes, issue the test requests to the laboratories for the qualification, validate the test results.Set the process of production of the new cables (metallurgy, extrusion, …).Pilot the industrialization in collaboration with the production department.Define with the factory the investments needed for the mass production of new cables.Write the credibility documents for the qualification and submit them to client approval.Manage the Design to Cost portfolio for the Vilanova factory: identify the ideas of cost reduction, propose projects, follow the projects and actions, follow monthly the savings in the Group reporting tool.Give assistance to QHSE department in case of technical claim.Provide technical support to factory production.Formation :Degree of Engineering in Material Science, Mechanics, or Electricity.Experience :5 years of previous experience in Industry R&D or Process, including project management and expertise in some of the following areas:Design and characterization (electrical/mechanical/optical/physical).Extrusion of polymers, design of extrusion tooling.Knowledge in metallurgy (welding, drawing, …).Material characterization.Language:Scientific rigor, flexibility, agility, autonomy, technical curiosity.Good relationship in transversal management
