Experienced Sous Chef Needed – MijasAn experienced Sous Chef is required for an immediate start for a large, exclusive, high-end, International Restaurant based on the coast of the Costa del Sol.
This restaurant is one of the most exclusive along the coast and therefore you must have previous experience working within a similar fine dining environment and be able to produce top-end quality work within a busy and energetic environment.You will be responsible for producing top-quality cuisine and supporting the head chef.
You will be provided with ongoing training and development and on occasion may take charge of the kitchen in the head chef's absence.
This is a responsible, creative job where you can really flex your talents within a fine dining environment.Job Type: Full-timeKey responsibilities:Running the kitchen when the head chef is awayEnsuring high culinary standardsManaging food purchasing and storageMaintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environmentHelping create new recipes and write menusRequired experience:2-3 years experience in fine dining, exclusive environmentEnglish is essential; other languages are a bonus but not requiredThe Offer:A full Spanish contract is offered.Monthly salary: €2000 to €2500 depending on experience.
