Sous Chef - (Mijas)

Job Description Experienced Sous Chef Needed – Mijas An experienced Sous Chef is required for an immediate start, for a large, exclusive, high-end, International Restaurant based on the coast of the Costa del Sol.
This restaurant is one of the most exclusive along the coast and therefore you must have previous experience working within a similar fine dining environment and be able to produce top-end quality work within a busy and energetic environment.
You will be responsible for producing top-quality cuisine and supporting the head chef.
You will be provided with ongoing training and development and on occasion may take charge of the kitchen in the head chef's absence.
This is a responsible, creative job where you can really flex your talents within a fine dining environment.
Job Type: Full-time Key responsibilities: ·        Running the kitchen when the head chef is away ·        Ensuring high culinary standards ·        Managing food purchasing and storage ·        Maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment ·        Helping create new recipes and write menus Required experience: ·        2-3 years experience in fine dining, exclusive environment: ·        English is essential, other languages are a bonus but not required The Offer: ·        A full Spanish contract is offered.
·        Monthly salary: €2000 to €2500 depending on experience.
      The restaurant is open all year round.
