The Senior Sous chef at the Sir Victor Hotel in Barcelona prepares delicious dishes according to the menu. You will be responsible for cooking dishes that delight guests with their flavour and timely service.Reports to: Head Chef y Executive chefYou must be able to follow instructions for cooking and serving well-prepared meals as well as be able to manage in the kitchen and multi-task. Experience in the use of various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important. The aim is to maintain and enhance our reputation in order to expand our clientele.
Responsabilities: Help in the preparation and design of all food and drinks menusProduce high quality plates both design and taste wiseEnsure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standardsFill in for the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessaryResourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situationManage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff's performanceOrder supplies to stock inventory appropriatelyComply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standardsMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customersTo carry out the inventory and maintenance of stocks necessary to guarantee the correct supply of kitchen products.Favouring a good working environment within the A&B Department.
