Position: Sous chef for 90m+ Superyacht

Vessel: Private & Charter Motor Yacht

Type of Contract: Full time and 12 weeks vacation per year

Restriction: Must be culinary trained, open to both Male and Female candidates

Crew & Guest: 25+ Crew and 12 Guests

Special Requirement: B1/B2 Visa + Ship's Cook Certificate

Start Date: Early September 2024

Salary: 6000€ per month

Job description: We are seeking a Sous Chef to join a 90m+ Charter Motor yacht in Spain in September.

We are seeking a motivated and energetic individual to complement the galley team, which runs with 2 chefs and 1 galley hand during guest trips. The yacht will cross to the Caribbean and will be chartering for winter 2024-25, as well as being used by its owners in January. The boat is looking to bring the new Sous chef on by early September.

Candidates can be male or female but must be culinary trained, have at least one year of experience on a superyacht, and hold a valid B1/B2 visa, along with required certifications: ENG1, updated STCW, and Ship's Cook Certificate.

The monthly salary is 6000€, with 12 weeks of vacation per year (this is not a rotational position). Additionally, up to 1500€ for training expenses will be reimbursed annually after completing one year onboard.
