As Sourcing Specialist you will be responsible for identification, tracking and implementation of cost saving actions.
You will be accountable to create, develop and execute sourcing activities.
This role could be based in Spain, Italy, Ireland or Poland and will report to our Category Manager Powertrain, Plastics and Fixings.
Main tasks and responsibilitiesIdentification, development and execution of the sourcing activities across whole-Hiab spendSuccessful cross-functional participation in New Product Development, Supplier relationship Management (SRM), early supplier involvement and selection with technology developmentLead the QAP process with support of Category Supplier DevelopmentIdentifying, tracking and implementing cost saving actionsDevelop open book costings, budgets and raw material forecasting for the suppliers within scopeEvaluate and develop the supply baseContract negotiation including payment term, quality/warranty/logistics annexes and raw material indices.What you'll need to succeedBachelor's degree in engineering or similar area is desirable4+ years relevant global industrial experience in sourcing rolesExperience in working with large suppliers with global multi-site footprint and managing supplier relations and negotiationsProject management, cross-functional improvement teams and supplier development programsExcellent communication, cooperation and negotiation skillsBCC/LCC Sourcing in EMEA and APACProficiency in using Google tools as well as ExcelAble to read technical drawingsContinuous improvement mindset with a business-driven and fact-based approach towards suppliers with a focus on building long-term relationshipsFluency in English - both written and spokenAbility to travel when neededYou will be part ofWe offer you a position in a global organisation where you are challenged with interesting and diverse tasks.
