Job Description:Will have the primary responsibility to manage the projects related to new products from the Sourcing standpoint. Will be an active process owner: attending follow-up meetings, liaising with suppliers and both internal (Sales, R&D, Supply chain) and external customers to fulfill their requirements, providing the prices needed for the cost quotes (together with the Category Managers), coordinating with the suppliers the delivery of samples, and ensuring timely materials delivery for the first production. In some cases, will support the graphic chain management in Optiva, supporting internal and external users for new graphic designs approvals and making sure suppliers complete their tasks on time. Additional activities to be performed include managing quality complaints to suppliers, dealing with IPV (Invoice Price Variance, or price mismatches between Purchase Order and Invoice) and inputting new prices in the system.
