Start your journey.The Sourcing Manager is the main point of client and supplier contact from Meeting Request through proposal to contracting and payment. Key areas of role include venue and destination knowledge, contract negotiation and budget management.What You'll Be Doing:Review meeting request and conduct meeting qualification call with clientIdentify appropriate venues according to client/event needsUnderstand and utilize preferred suppliers' programAdvise and guide the client about suitable optionsInform about rejected venues (quality, availability...)Maintain contact with suppliers and manage option datesBudget management of projectSecure meeting owner approval on budget and terms & conditions of suppliersNegotiate supplier rates and conditionsEnsure per project profitability through commission and feesCoordinate Inspection trip if needed and assistance if requiredWhat We'll Need from You:Experience in hotel buying required (3 -4 years)Proven strong negotiation and communication skillsFluency in English and SpanishKnowledge of domestic hotels and destinations required, international knowledge is a benefitOnline sourcing tool experience ie Cvent and Meeting Central would be beneficialOperations experience in hospitality industry or equivalent is a benefitPrior successful experience in developing and maintaining key client and supplier relationshipsPrior experience in effectively handle multiple projects/demandsStrong knowledge of program/event management and budget maintenanceLocation: SpainThe #TeamGBT Experience:Flexible benefits: tailored to each country and start the day you do.
