Partnering with engineering and business teams, you will become the technical expert our customers rely on. Through building relationships with major network operators, you will deliver solutions that will impact millions of users.As a Solutions Engineer Senior, you will be responsible for:Creating sales opportunities by managing the pre-sales technical process and demonstrating Akamai's technology to customers.Managing the technical proposal process and ensuring all technical information and recommendations addressing customer requirements are accurate.Tracking account activity for business analysis and reporting, designing technical solutions to meet our customers' needs.Leading sales activities such as Technical Demos, Customer Analysis Reports (CARs), and Proof of Concepts (POCs).Do what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:Have experience working in a customer-facing technical solutions pre-sales or post-sale role.Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the internet, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL protocols, and cloud-based technologies.Have interest in and understanding of online security threats and technologies.Demonstrate experience with presenting technical topics to diverse audiences.Be a team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast-changing environment.Have a proficiency English level.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best can vary for each person.
