Purpose of the Position: The purpose of the position is to provide support in analyzing, designing and implementing high-quality web portals, learning and content management solutions for UNICC and its partners and clients.
Objectives of the Programme: The objective of the Centre is to provide trusted ICT services and digital business solutions to its Clients and Partner Organizations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities: The incumbent will work under the direct supervision and guidance of the Head, Digital Business Solutions (DDD) within the Digital Delivery Division (DD).
In consultation with the Head, DDD, the incumbent will support Digital Delivery Division teams in analyzing, designing and implementing information systems and liaise with end users, software vendors, and programmers in order to achieve intended outcomes for UNICC and its partners and clients, in close collaboration with other UNICC Teams.
The incumbent will perform the following tasks:
Lead and manage a team of developers, designers, and content specialists, ensuring optimal performance and collaboration.
Continuously assess team performance and provide feedback, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
In collaboration with the Head, DDD, develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets for web portal, learning and content management solution projects.
Work closely with clients to understand their needs, translate their requirements into technical specifications, and ensure that solutions meet or exceed expectations.
Collaborate with the Business Relationship Managers to identify and develop new business opportunities.
Coordinate the development of business cases for Content Management, Training and Learning Management delivery projects in collaboration with Head Digital Delivery and customers.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including project plans, system architecture, and user guides.
Ensure that all projects adhere to industry standards and best practices for accessibility, usability, and security.
Ensure compliance with Project Management Office (PMO) delivery and risk mitigation standards.
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and third-party service providers.
Support the key business stakeholders in transition management to operation; ensuring that business as usual is maintained during the implementation of any new IT projects and the changes are effectively integrated into the business.
Follow the UNICC DevSecOps guidelines and support UNICC DevSecOps related initiatives.
