As a Solution Project Manager, you manage projects ranging from small to complex intralogistics solutions in the commercial phase and lead the assigned internal team on the project.
You govern the progression of the project within the set deadline, budget constraints and ensure compliance with the commercial process taking both the customer and internal milestones in mind.

Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders and team members regularly within the defined channels.
Identify potential risks and opportunities and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
Apply Dematic standard solutions and ways of working as much as possible throughout the project.
Lead internal project meetings and facilitate effective collaboration among team members.
Clearly communicate and follow-up expected deliverables and timeline for each team member involved.
Facilitate key knowledge transfer between all involved with the project.
Prepare customer meetings/workshops and conduct them together with the sales department.
Starting from a standard template, assist the sales team in writing the proposal document which accurately reflects our offered solution towards the customer.
Manage the flow of specifications received from the customer and organize/allocate reviews to the correct stakeholders before recording any acceptance/deviation.
Monitor and evaluate the project's budget constraints, proactively address unexpected differences, and follow the necessary escalation measures where needed.
Continuously manage the scope of the project to keep both the customer and internal resources in line.
Skills & Capabilities: Strong in the following traits: time management, effective communication skills (verbal and written) and have a 'getting things done' mindset.
Ability to work under pressure, managing projects priorities with tight timelines.
High self-motivation, taking initiative and able to motivate/coordinate a cross-discipline team.
You are communicative and are fluent in English (C1 or higher).
Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
You can work fluently with Project, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Experience Desired: Knowledge of the materials handling market and its trends.
Knowledge of warehouse and mechanised/automated systems operations.
Knowledge of customer buying behaviour of automated material handling solutions.
Experience of presentations to/interacting with customers at different levels within a business structure (Operators, Maintenance Engineers, Buyers, CEO's etc).
Experience working in an international team collaboration environment.
5 years experience as a project manager/team lead/project team member within the material handling industry.
Fluent English Level (C1 or higher).
Valid driving licence in accordance with the national laws and company policy.
Education & Certifications: You have a degree in management, engineering or a comparable professional qualification.
