WHAT YOU CAN EXPECTYou will work in a DevOps (Development and Operations) organization while also having regular exchanges with consultants from other areas (SAP, Business Process Integration) and are responsible for connecting new site locations from planning up to implementation.
Furthermore, you will be in charge of the development and management of data pipelines to integrate plant laboratory instruments and take care of BASF standard instrument connection as well as integration to SAP/QM.
You will work on the integration of new analytical devices from concept to implementation and collaborate closely with heads of plant laboratories as well as laboratory technicians.
In addition, you will support tests from analytical devices to SAP/QM (if necessary, directly in the lab) and GO LIVE activities like training and support.
REQUIREMENTSDegree in computer science or information technology with experience in Lab Automation and Analytical Devices.At least 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP QM (R/3, S/4HANA), ideally covering multiple projects in various phases, such as design, implementation, upgrade, and support.In-depth know-how in SAP QM modules, integration with other SAP modules like PP (Production Planning), MM (Material Management), some understanding of ABAP (SAP's programming language), and supply chain processes.Familiarity with agile delivery methods such as Scrum and utilization of work organization tools like Azure DevOps for efficient collaboration and timely project delivery.Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and German which define you as an effective team player.Creative and motivated working style with a strong focus on innovation and customers.WHAT WE OFFERA secure work environment because your health, safety, and wellbeing is always our top priority.Flexible work schedule and Home-office options, so that you can balance your working life and private life.Learning and development opportunities.23 holiday days per year.5 additional days (readjustment).2 cultural days.A collaborative, trustful, and innovative work environment.Being part of an international team and work in global projects.Relocation assistance to Madrid provided.At BASF, the chemistry is right.
