Funciones
The candidate will join the Solutions Engineering & Presales Department, as solution architect for the North region in Spain and for complex opportunities requiring group level approval. They will focus on a consultative selling becoming the technical reference for key accounts and in charge of designing solutions to solve problems when the standard portoflio does not fit.
This position reports to the Head of Solutions Architects.
'- The role involves understanding the client's needs and requirements, ensuring customer satisfaction, and helping deliver customized solutions to meet their business objectives.
They design and develop solutions (i.e., consultative selling) in close alignment with presales consultants that: meet customer requirements, are feasible, are cost-effective, and are aligned with the company's products and services. They act as proposal managers (more info later) for selected clients and solutions. They will have to deal with Delivery in Iberia and with other Thales' entities and potential subcontractors to develop the proposal. This implies designing the solution, its cost model, developing the proposal, leading the defence workshops, ensuring bid management process is followed, etc. They have a broad knowledge on all company's products and services. Therefore, they play a major role in cross selling strategies. They have a broad knowledge on bid managemetn process. They foster selected customers' demand to achieve growth objectives, by supporting account managers and helping prioritize solution development. This requires a very close and direct relationship with selected accounts. They gather and analyze data to help the sales team understand customer requirements, market trends, and competitive landscape to improve the sales pitch, as well as to develop a roadmap for nominated clients.
